Overview
This was a personal project I wanted to add to my portfolio. While there are countless case studies on mobile apps and websites, Apple Watch apps remain an underexplored space. Wanting to challenge myself and stand out, I decided to take this opportunity.
I embraced the challenge of diving deep into the Apple Watch ecosystem—understanding its functionality, design principles, and what truly defines a great watch app.
Today, I’m excited to share my learnings and design process to help you create excellent apps for the Apple Watch.

About
Ola Electric App is a mobile app that lets users control their Ola electric scooters remotely. It allows keyless lock/unlock, battery monitoring, ride stats, navigation, anti-theft alerts, and OTA updates. Users can also locate charging stations and switch riding modes.
Honestly, the mobile app looks insanely good! The UI/UX of the app is fantastic. Great job by whoever worked on the design.

To ensure the icon stood out and was easily recognizable, I experimented with different variations. After testing, I chose the original Ola Electric logo for brand consistency. I created two variants—a dark and a light version—to suit different watch faces.
